More About Kyle Jones

I’m a genderqueer butch, a geek, an athlete and a parent in a open relationship with my long-term partner, aka Mrs. Kyle.  I still live in my hometown on the western side of Washington State, in one of the not so large metro areas clustered along Interstate 5.  My wife and I have been together for 19 years and have two daughters: a tween and a toddler.   We’re a busy family with orchestra, soccer, Girl Scouts, volunteer obligations and family dinners.

I’m also in a polyamorous relationship with another wonderful and supportive partner.  Roxy and I met on Twitter and flirted furiously to get each other’s attention.  That lighthearted start led to a very deep and satisfying relationship.  She is a fellow blogger, Uncommon Curiosity is her home on the web.  She and I have supported and loved each other through a lot of difficult challenges and continue to affirm our commitment to each other.   We have a serious but playful relationship that gets better all the time.   She is my lover, my creative muse and writing partner.  She is my Sir, my partner and mentor in the exploration of BDSM and kink.

I identify as genderqueer/binary gender non-conforming and recognize separate male and female identities within myself, referred to as Kyle and Casey in this blog.  Genderqueer is my gender identity, butch is how I physically present myself.  Sexually, I’m queer (in my case that incorporates aspects of lesbianism, bisexuality and faggot lust).  I am interested in exploring gender, sexuality, identity and the words we use to signify ourselves.

My life is very rich.

I am a writer and have always held that identity close to my heart, regardless of the number of words I actually manage to produce. This blog is a place for me to explore sexuality, identity, gender issues, and my life. It’s also a place for me to publish my smut and other writing and get feedback on it. Feedback I hope will help me to become a better writer.

I like my sex to be served with generous helpings of respect and humor. I’m not an upper-case top, but I enjoy employing that dynamic with willing partners, even as I enjoy the opportunity to submit to my partner’s desires.  I value relationships of all kinds with strong, intelligent, interesting people.

Of course, that’s only a small slice of who I am. Along the way, I’m sure to reveal other aspects as well, important stuff like my astrological sign, favorite colors, things that turn me on and things that turn me off.
