A little more about Trans News:

July 16, 2012

Designed to be an uplifting part of your day, the newly launched Trans News (transnews.org) is the latest online publication from The TransGuys Network. Trans News is a transsexual and transgender news source with a twist: all of the crowdsourced content is 100% trans positive news.

According to publisher Joshua Riverdale, the idea for Trans News was born of a desire to balance the barrage of negativity in mainstream media stories about trans people: “I’m tired of seeing violence, transphobia and negativity as a common thread between so many news stories about trans people. ‘It Gets Better’ isn’t very comforting in this context. Trans News is the proof that positive and inspiring things are happening now for trans people around the world.”
