fistful of tequila

Fistful of tequila
Self-confidence wadded up in my pocket
Steady my wits
Steady my nerves
Screw up my courage
Square my shoulders
Look life straight in the eye

Ok you motherfucker
Bring it

I LOVE this. Seems like something to memorize and repeat to yourself in times of doubt. Or write on your hand in Sharpie so it’s there for quick reference. :-)

I’m not going to do the Sharpie, though I did consider it for a moment or two. I think a laminated card, as another reader suggested. Thanks, Coy – K

I’m copying and pasting this, printing it out and sticking a copy of it in my wallet. The last two lines in bold. For when life gets less amusing. Which seems to be more often lately.

So you’re in agreement with Coy. I don’t think I’ll write it on my hand in ink (her suggestion) but I like the idea of a laminated card. And I have a laminator.

Glad it spoke to you as well. Sometimes we just have to grab life by the balls and kick it’s ass — K

Ooooh – what a kick ass rallying cry, and definitely very Kyle. I’m thinking tattoo…care to guess where? ;)

Well, I have lots of guesses, however, I think I’m supposed to be able to read it without using a mirror..;-) K
