Half-Nekkid Thursday : little hands

One of my favorite times of the day is when I come home from work and catch up with my baby girl.  It seems like every day she’s learned something new or has some new way of expressing herself.

I settle my things, scoop her up and we have some time to visit before dinner is ready.  It’s fun to see what catches her eye, what delights her from moment to moment.

Sometimes it’s my hands that get her attention.  I’ve got a shiny ring, a shiny watch and a shiny snap on my leather band.  Sometimes she just wants to test her teeth on my fingers, or closely examine how my fingernails are attached.    I love those little hands, those chubby fingers so eager to explore the world.
