Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes.. Big Love gets Bigger

A lot has been happening in my life lately, a new contract position, a new daughter and a new addition to my love live.   I am newly involved with Amber, known on twitter as @bailar_vivir, and the blogger behind Divergent Dance.

Yes, I am still in a long-term partnership with my wife and still in a relationship with Roxy.  Amber has a partner as well, Emmett (@friendtopups).  That gives you a hint about the intricacies and complexities we’re dealing with.  By becoming my girlfriend, Amber also becomes involved with my family and with Roxy.  By becoming her boyfriend, I become involved with Emmett, who I really like and have a brotherly relationship with.  I feel comfortable checking in with him and hope he feels the same way about me.  We’ve all done a lot of communicating about expectations and boundaries and about our hopes for the future, and that is an ongoing process. 

But enough of all that relationship business, let me tell you a bit about her, and why I love her and want her in my life.

Amber is a sexy femme who has a very hot toppy side as well as a very sexy, delicious bottomy side.  She’s intelligent, quick, witty and has a great sense of humor.  She is fiercely loyal and protective of those she loves.  She can, and will, kick my ass as needed, which is a good ability to have if you’re involved with me.  As we get to know each other better, we keep discovering similarities.  We have a lot in common, but are different enough to keep things interesting.  She challenges me and listens to me.   It helps a lot that I also love Emmet like a brother and look forward to having a long friendship with him as time goes on.

As with any relationship, Amber and I have our challenges but we’re both stubborn people who don’t give up easily.   She and Emmett live far enough away that we are geographically challenged, so seeing each other in person is going to be a rare thing for the time being.  My hope is that she and I can build on our shared interests, shared attraction and shared love to create something meaningful and strong over time.
